... a wonderful country experience with all modern facilities...

Only 1½ hours from Canberra, 2½ hours from Sydney and 2 hours from Wollongong.

‘Halston’ is one of Crookwell’s original and historic cottages. This luxurious and private self contained accommodation can sleep up to six people, yet is equally suited for a romantic couple. The house has been extensively refurbished to suit a modern lifestyle yet retains its original charm with polished floorboards and timber ceilings.

The private and established garden features spring bulbs and flowering shrubs, roses and lavender – there is always something in flower. Shady trees and an extensive lawn area make this a wonderful place to chill out and relax. The garden is a wonderful venue for weddings – we can arrange catering.

Crookwell is located at 890 meters above sea level and has four distinct seasons. Summer nights are normally cool and winter days normally sunny. Snow is not uncommon in winter and winter nights can be quite frosty. As a rough guide, the maximum in summer seldom exceeds 30C whilst in winter the maximum is usually around 12-14C.

‘Halston’ is located in one of Crookwell’s prettiest streets with views to the surrounding hills from the garden – yet only a short stroll to local shops and restaurants.
